Northern Lights...

The Northern Lights were formed during the 2006/2007 school year by Director Steve Shelley. The group features vocalists fronting a jazz ensemble of saxes, trumpets, low brass, a rhythm section, and augmented with the use of select woodwinds, horns and string players.

The format of this talented group of North High School students is to perform a variety of vocal and instrumental selections with their repertoire covering a wide range of music styles from big band to orchestral to contemporary pop and jazz.

In addition to presenting numerous special concerts, the Northern Lights have performed at various events and grand openings. If you are interested in securing the Northern Lights to entertain at an upcoming event, please contact Steve Shelley.
